Rovinj (tal. Rovigno) is a city in Croatia located on the west coast of Istria. Together with Poreč it is the strongest tourism center of Istria and one of the strongest on the Adriatic. The area of Rovinj borders with communes of Bale, Kanfanar, Sv. Lovreč and Vrsar. In the area of Rovinj is located 10 hotels, of which the largest hotel Eden for many years and proclaimed as the best 4-star hotel in Croatia. In 2009 Rovinj gets first 5-star hotel, Monte Mulini. Since the hotel is still separated from the prestigious Hotel Istra wellness center island, the Park Hotel and the Hotel Adriatic in the very center of Rovinj. Also in the city there are several campsites (Vestar, Amarin, Polari, Valalta), hotel resorts and hotel - apartment resorts (Villas Rubin, Amarin), and hotel and camping Valdaliso. The largest camp in Rovinj is Valalta type naturist resort, which is also among the biggest and best in Croatia.
